Department of Anesthesiology
The Department of Anesthesiology provides a full range of services for Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network. While our team works on approximately 28,000 complex surgical procedures annually, anesthesia also is increasingly used outside the operating room--in childbirth, heart care and many other clinical areas.
Our anesthesiology team is on the leading edge of education and research, and carries affiliations with institutions, such as the Penn State University College of Medicine, the Crozer-Chester Hospital School, the Montgomery Hospital School and the Nazareth Hospital School for nurse anesthetist education. Our team also holds a fellowship in pain medicine from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
